In 2023, we saw numerous Hollywood pairs get engaged, from Nicole Scherzinger and Thom Evans to Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott. If this year is anything like last year, we suspect that many stars will be popping the question in 2024.

Will Reeve, an ABC News correspondent and the son of the late Christopher Reeve, proposed to event planner Amanda Dubin with an antique ring on Friday, November 8, 2024. Two days later, they shared the news on social media with a joint Instagram post, featuring photos by Allan Zepeda. "Us 🤍," they wrote as their caption. The photos in the carousel give friends, family, and followers a glimpse into the indoor proposal setup in New York City, which featured pink and purple flowers, white votive candles, and a live cellist. The couple's loved ones were also in attendance.

Joe Exotic and Jorge Marquez

While serving his 21-year prison sentence for hiring two hit men to murder animal welfare activist Carole Baskin, Joe Exotic, star of Netflix's Tiger King, got engaged to his fellow prison inmate, Jorge Marquez. The TV personality announced the news on October 28, 2024, on X. "Meet Jorge Marquez he is 33," he said in his social media post. "He is so amazing and is from Mexico. Now, the quest of getting married in prison and getting him asylum or we be leaving America when we both get out. Either way, I wish I would have met him long ago." The couple has already applied for their marriage license and is now awaiting approval to get married, hopefully by next month, they told Entertainment Weekly.

After reconnecting in 2019 at a Tony Robbins event, Nina Dobrev and Shaun White announced their engagement on October 30, 2024, in an interview with Vogue. The snowboarder popped the question to the actress at The Golden Swan in New York City. The proposal was a complete surprise: White had his publicist send Dobrev a fake invitation to a CFDA/Vogue dinner with Anna Wintour. Upon arriving (a few minutes late!), she spotted White—alone—under a white floral arch. In her Instagram post, the actress showed off her new diamond: a five-carat engagement ring from Lorraine Schwartz.

During an appearance on Jennie Garth’s podcast, Choose Me With Jennie Garth, on October 22, 2024, Leslie Grossman broke the news that she’s engaged to her partner, whose name she hasn't disclosed. In the episode, Garth reflected on a time she ran into Grossman at the airport and learned an exciting life update from the Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story star. “You dropped a bomb on me right in the airport baggage claim,” Garth shared. “And you told me—can I say it?” In response, Grossman gave her permission, saying, “You know what’s funny is I actually have not spoken about it yet, but you can say...I am engaged, which is so fun.”

Noah Lyles and Junelle Bromfield

Olympic track and field stars Noah Lyles and Junelle Bromfield announced their engagement on October 13, 2024, by posting a clip of the dreamy proposal on Instagram. According to the video, which Michael Meiseles recorded, Lyles popped the question on an outdoor balcony at night while kneeling in a bed of pink flower petals, framed by a pink heart-shaped floral arch, white candles in glass holders, and a neon sign that read, "Will you marry me?" The shot also documented Bromfield's candid reaction to the proposal and her new bling. "To My Future Wife I Will Love You Forever 💍," Lyles wrote, dedicating the post to Bromfield.

After nearly two years of dating, Carly Rae Jepsen and Cole M.G.N. are engaged! The singer announced the happy news—and a few photos of her square-cut gemstone engagement ring—on Instagram on September 23, 2024. "Very engaged over here," she wrote alongside a series of images that showed the couple enjoying a countryside getaway. Jepsen and the record producer and songwriter announced their relationship to the public in November 2022, shortly after their romance began, per TMZ.

The outlet revealed that the proposal took place while the two of them were on vacation before NFL season. According to exclusive images that the couple shared with the publication, the NFL star popped the question one evening while overlooking the ocean, complete with red roses, candles, and a violinist.

The singer confirmed her engagement to the former Victorious actor on September, 12, 2024, on X. Responding to a photo captioned with her supposed hopes to marry Jogia posted by @PopBase, the pop star commented, "*****fiancé Avan Jogia." Ed Westwick, who famously played Chuck on Gossip Girl, proposed to girlfriend Amy Jackson while on vacation in Gstaad, Switzerland, in January of 2024.
