Emma Stone Wore Her Wedding Dress on the 2022 Met Gala Red Carpet

Emma Stone walked onto the 2022 Met Gala red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a stunning white Louis Vuitton dress. Little did we realize at first, the actress had worn this mini before. In fact, Stone donned this LWD stunner as an afterparty dress to her secret 2020 wedding to her husband Dave McCary. Since photos from the nuptials were kept under wraps by the private couple, this was the first time we ever caught a glimpse of any of Stone's wedding looks.

While we initially were loving the bridal vibes the actress was giving off in her chic mini dress, Louis Vuitton revealed it was Stone's actual wedding dress in an Instagram post of the actress with Louis Vuitton designer Nicolas Ghesquiere and South Korean model Hoyeon Jung. The caption reads: "Sartorial revival. @NicolasGhesquiere, #Hoyeon, and #EmmaStone in #LouisVuitton at the #MetGala. Emma Stone gives a second life to a white dress specially designed for her wedding after-party, while Hoyeon wears a structured cut-out dress from the Cruise 2017 Collection."

Rewearing the dress is definitely a statement on sustainability and we are here for it. We are also in love with the sheer illusion straps and feather adorned hem that gives the number a modern flapper vibe. We also love how the beautiful Louis Vuitton dress looks paired with her unique pearl engagement ring. To complete the look, Stone wore white shoes with a modern chain strap and pulled her hair up in a bun to give off a fresh-faced, ballet-inspired feel.

While we would have loved to see how Stone styled the look on her wedding day, we are happy to get a taste of it with her sweet style at the Met Gala, too.
