The finale of the Chanel Haute Couture show has a special place in our hearts. Why? Dating back to the 80s, the late Karl Lagerfeld always wrapped up his show with a gorgeous wedding dress, employing "it girl" models like Claudia Schiffer, Devon Aoki, Alek Wek, Kendall Jenner, and Cara Delevingne to sport his one-of-a-kind creations. In designs spanning all bridal styles, the "Chanel brides" have walked the runway in everything from over-the-top ball gowns to mini dresses and even a swimsuit—and these famous getups have been accompanied by some of today's most popular bridal accessories, such as hats, capes, sneakers, flower crowns, and veils. While Lagerfeld is no longer at the helm of the brand, the tradition of the Chanel bride continues to live on each season.
