Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi Celebrated Their Upcoming Wedding With an Engagement Party

Two months after Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi announced their engagement, the couple reportedly celebrated their new relationship status in a big way. The Stranger Things star and Jon Bon Jovi’s son enjoyed what appeared to be an engagement party, according to photos from hairstylist Pete Burkill. On June 2, 2023, the London-based hairdresser posted a carousel of images on Instagram that picture the future newlyweds all smiles at their supposed soirée. “Congrats to this beautiful couple!” Burkill gushes in his caption.

In the photos, the couple is shown posing while standing in front of an all-white balloon installation with a neon sign that says, “Mr. And Mrs. Bongiovi.” The Enola Holmes star is seen wearing a white lace two-piece set with a cropped shirt and skirt, which was styled by Michelle Kelly, according to the caption. Beside her, the future groom is pictured donning a bright green suit, white dress shirt, and a brown belt.

The images also show Brown’s hair parted down the middle, featuring subtle waves. In his caption, Burkill explains how he styled the bride-to-be’s locks, plus the products he incorporated. “Hair by @peteburkill using: @got2b GLUED Blasting Freeze Hairspray to secure & hold the finished look & Smooth Operator to make @milliebobbybrown’s hair super silky,” he reveals. “And the GLUED Water-Resistant Spiking Gel on @jakebongiovi for an ultra strong hold.” The hairstylist also notes that he added Foxy Locks hair extensions in the shade “cocoa.” The post indicates that the actress completed her look with natural glam by Buster Knight.

On April 11, 2023, Brown first announced her engagement to Bongiovi with an Instagram post.
