If you haven't been following any of the wedding-worthy, red carpet fashions this award season, allow us to catch you up. Thus far, we've seen our favorite stars fully lean into sequins, white, gold, and silver gowns at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards. We also saw our fair share of modern and causal white ensembles at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards. But, it was at the 2024 Emmy Awards, which aired on January 15, 2024, where celebs decided to take a risk and wear bold, bridal-adjacent looks that showed off tons of personality.
Take, for example, Issa Rae, who sported an Old Hollywood-inspired getup—a look we could see brides with glamourous aesthetics fully embracing on their big days. Or, Jenna Ortega, who wore Dior Haute Couture and served as the perfect muse for those getting married surrounded by florals and garden motifs. What's more, we even spotted a few daring mother-of-the-bride and -groom-inspired looks, ensembles worthy to be worn by the matriarch of a family.
In all, we were completely thrilled to see the stars embracing the essence of bridal fashion, whether intentionally or not. And to spotlight our favorite outfits, here are the best wedding-worthy looks from the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards.

As you can see here, Issa Rae went from President Barbie to glam bridal Barbie on the Emmy Awards red carpet. Between the feather embellishments, sequin embroidery, and off-white hue, the actor's Pamella Roland getup is a great example to follow if you're a bride who subscribes to the more is more aesthetic.

Let's give a round of applause for Joy Sunday's two-piece Safiyaa ensemble. While we love the elegant simplicity of the design (and the train!), what truly gets us excited is that brides can purchase this exact outfit directly from the brand's website
Robin Thede

Robin Thede took wedding fashion florals to a new level with this strapless, blush pink gown by Ines Di Santo (a bridal designer!). The three-dimensional floral appliqués provide a romantic vibe, while the asymmetrical draped skirt and semi-sheer bodice add a modern aesthetic to this one-of-a-kind design.

Sheryl Lee Ralph

Sheryl Lee Ralph gave us the best of both worlds (groom and bridal fashion) with her tuxedo-inspired Christian Siriano gown. Take a cue from the actor's getup and mix and match aesthetics if a classic wedding dress isn't for you.
Jenna Ortega

Jenna Ortega ditched her Wednesday Addams persona in favor of "garden princess vibes," and we are absolutely thrilled! The Wednesday star opted to wear a floral, tea-length Dior dress, which the actor called "a piece of art," according to People. Brides take note: This style would be a great choice for a welcome party or rehearsal dinner.

Equal parts elegant and sophisticated, Tracee Ellis Ross' Sportmax ensemble is one to know if you're planning to have a civil or courthouse ceremony. The best part? Each piece—the top and the skirt—can be worn long after you've tied the knot.
Marin Hinkle

Marin Hinkle looked statuesque and ethereal in this off-the-shoulder Marchesa gown. While brides can certainly draw inspiration from this timeless getup, we believe it's a lovely source of inspiration for mothers of the bride or groom shopping for a fall or winter wedding.
Taraji P. Henson

Wedding guests, this one's for you! Selena Gomez stepped out in the most striking Oscar de la Renta gown, which we could see being worn to a black-tie or formal affair.

Ariana DeBose's Brunello Cucinelli look gave chic and sexy bridal vibes on the Emmys red carpet. Not only does her getup work for beach-themed weddings, but it could also be worn as an after-party outfit.

Talk about making a statement! While Kaitlin Olson's red carpet gown is not for the faint of hearts, it is a look we recommend for brides who aren't afraid to break with tradition when it comes to their wedding day attire.
